Today's Favorite Verse: Psalms 13:5
"But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation."
In this psalm David sounds forgotten, and wondering how long the Lord would hid his face from him. Then it changes to David trusting in the Lord's mercy and that is what he will rejoice in. It made me think of counting your blessings and looking for the positive when we face hard times. That really does work. The more you practice this, the easier it is to see the hand of the Lord guiding your life. You know things will work out, even if you must pass through the fire.
