Today's Favorite Verse: Job 14:4

Today's Favorite Verse: Job 14:4
"Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one."

Wish I had this verse a few days ago. I had a discussion with someone regarding an issue they were having with an elderly relative. The elderly person was very religious but with some dementia. The family member was trying to clean out their food storage of rotted and expired food. The elderly person thought they needed it all because the end of the world was any day now. The family member not being religious didn't know how to address this. I told them don't challenge them on the second coming being any day now. Distract them in preparing their very best for it instead. The Lord's house is a house of order.

Don't challenge their feelings that they need their food storage. Agree it's import, but distract them in offering their very best. I told them about the story of Elijah and widow of Zarephath. How God can multiple what we have with faith. The widow's flour was not rotted or spoiled, the oil was not rancid, both were whole and able to nourish Elijah, the widow, and her son throughout the famine. If the Lord was to multiple what you had, would you want to multiple something expired, or something eatable? We should offer and store our very best. Get them involved in setting up the guidelines. What is an acceptable time frame after the best buy and expiration date? What type of cans are acceptable to eat. Give them more control so they don't have to feel you will get rid of everything on them. Sometimes rotating is not eating but replacing what was bad with good, so make sure to bring in new items to take their place. If they won't let you throw out the bad then make a special area for expired items until they are ready to let it go. The Lord is not going to make something unclean into clean when we had stewardship over what was stored in that place. We need to be wise and faithful stewards and put our house in order.

Today's Favorite Verse: Numbers 33:54

Today's Favorite Verse: Numbers 33:54
"And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit."

This made me think of the law of consecration. How they receive their stewardship or inheritance. All this land had been Abraham inheritance, but it was many generations later that it was fulfilled. It made me reflect on lands of inheritances, and how all that will work out in the millennium.

"And it shall come to pass that I, the Lord God, will send one mighty and strong, holding the scepter of power in his hand, clothed with light for a covering, whose mouth shall utter words, eternal words; while his bowels shall be a fountain of truth, to set in order the house of God, and to arrange by lot the inheritances of the saints whose names are found, and the names of their fathers, and of their children, enrolled in the book of the law of God;"
(Doctrine and Covenants 85:7)

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 117:16

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 117:16
"And again, verily I say unto you, let all my servants in the land of Kirtland remember the Lord their God, and mine house also, to keep and preserve it holy, and to overthrow the moneychangers in mine own due time, saith the Lord. Even so. Amen."

This made me think about the Kirtland temple and how after it fell out of the church's hands the RLDS church (later Community of Christ) was able to purchase it. They did a marvelous job keeping and preserving it. However, it was sad to see donations for tours there. After all these years in March 2024, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was able to purchase and gain stewardship back from them. I do wish I could travel there and tour it now. I understand the story of the most sacred event of the Savior, Moses, Elias, and Elijah appearances is part of the tour.

Day 3706

Today's Favorite Verse: 2 Nephi 5:5-6

Today's Favorite Verse: 2 Nephi 5:5-6
"And it came to pass that the Lord did warn me, that I, Nephi, should depart from them and flee into the wilderness, and all those who would go with me.
Wherefore, it came to pass that I, Nephi, did take my family, and also Zoram and his family, and Sam, mine elder brother and his family, and Jacob and Joseph, my younger brethren, and also my sisters, and all those who would go with me. And all those who would go with me were those who believed in the warnings and the revelations of God; wherefore, they did hearken unto my words."

I pondered on revelation and who can receive it for who? In this case Nephi received revelation for more than his immediate family. It was his extended family and Zoram and his family too. I wouldn't follow my brother if he said he had received revelation that my family needed to leave and follow him. He wouldn't have stewardship over my family and receive revelation for us. Why was this case with Nephi different? It was because after the death of his father Lehi, he was now the prophet. Those that would go with him, believed in the revelations of God and were his stewardship. A prophet of God can receive warning and revelations for the church. We can receive revelation that confirms it is such.

Day 3376

Sunday, October 31, 2021

Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Samuel 12:23-25

Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Samuel 12:23-25
"Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:
Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king."

It gave me pause to think you could sin by ceasing to pray for someone. Then I remembered another prophet that was chastened by the Lord for not praying.

"And it came to pass at the end of four years that the Lord came again unto the brother of Jared, and stood in a cloud and talked with him. And for the space of three hours did the Lord talk with the brother of Jared, and chastened him because he remembered not to call upon the name of the Lord.
And the brother of Jared repented of the evil which he had done, and did call upon the name of the Lord for his brethren who were with him. And the Lord said unto him: I will forgive thee and thy brethren of their sins; but thou shalt not sin any more, for ye shall remember that my Spirit will not always strive with man; wherefore, if ye will sin until ye are fully ripe ye shall be cut off from the presence of the Lord. And these are my thoughts upon the land which I shall give you for your inheritance; for it shall be a land choice above all other lands."
(Ether 2:14-15)

Those in leadership over others have a responsible to teach, exhort and to pray for those they lead. Otherwise the sin is also answered upon their heads.

"And we did magnify our office unto the Lord, taking upon us the responsibility, answering the sins of the people upon our own heads if we did not teach them the word of God with all diligence; wherefore, by laboring with our might their blood might not come upon our garments; otherwise their blood would come upon our garments, and we would not be found spotless at the last day."
(Jacob 1:19)

"Now, my beloved brethren, I, Jacob, according to the responsibility which I am under to God, to magnify mine office with soberness, and that I might rid my garments of your sins, I come up into the temple this day that I might declare unto you the word of God."
(Jacob 2:2)

Preside John Taylor said on one occasion, speaking to the brethren of the priesthood: 'If you do not magnify your callings, God will hold you responsible for those you might have saved, had you done your duty."

After the prophet or those with a stewardship over others have done all that they can to warn the people, they have rid their garments of our sins. They are not responsible. Ultimately the person then must repent or be destroyed. The accountability is theirs alone to bear. Yet, we never stop praying for them.

Day 2407

Friday, May 28, 2021

Today's Favorite Verse: Leviticus 2:2-3

Today's Favorite Verse: Leviticus 2:2-3

"And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord:
And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the Lord made by fire."

A meat offering is the evening sacrifice. It completed the sacrificial meal of the burnt and peace offering. Only a memorial was offered and the remainder was given to the priests for their service. It was a holy offering. I pondered on what it must have been like for Aaron and his sons to receive such a gift. It made me think of the Bishop and his responsibility to use fast offerings with care. When you know something has been consecrated to the Lord you would be mindful of your stewardship over it, as should the receiver of it.

Day 2251

Monday, March 22, 2021

Today's Favorite Verse: Genesis 25:22

Today's Favorite Verse: Genesis 25:22

"And the children struggles together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the Lord."

This made me ponder on stewardship and the role of a mother. We are entitled to answers regarding our children if we ask in faith in prayer. I have experienced this miracle many times in my life. Children do not come with instructions manuals, they come with a prayer line to God.

Day 2184

Wednesday, January 20, 2021

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 120:1

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 120:1

"Verily, thus saith the Lord, the time is now come, that it shall be disposed of by a council, composed of the First Presidency of my Church, and of the bishop and his council, and by my high council; and by mine own voice unto them, saith the Lord. Even so. Amen."

The chapter header says this verse is about the "disposition of the properties tithed as named in the preceding revelation." As I read this single verse chapter I though of the chain of authority mentioned to handle this matter. It goes from the First Presidency to the bishop and high council. All of them are the voice of the Lord as they work within their stewardship and keys. It made me reflect on what we have seen this past year with the church handling COVID-19. The First Presidency had decisions made locally thorough the Area Presidency. There were those that would not listen to their Area Presidencies. They wanted to hear from the prophet himself on matters. The point is the church leadership was doing directly as the Lord counseled them to do.

Day 2123

Tuesday, January 19, 2021

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 119:4

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 119:4

"And after that, those who have thus been tithed shall pay one-tenth of all their interest annually; and this shall be a standing law unto them forever, for my holy priesthood, saith the Lord."

The year is 1838 and the church has gone from the law of consecration and stewardship of property to tithing. In the heading it says "Because of failure on the part of many to abide by this covenant, the Lord withdrew it for a time and gave instead the law of tithing to the whole Church." Tithing it then appears is a lesser law. As I reflected on this I realized that even though I pay tithing I still must be a wise steward of what the Lord has given me. Stewardship over property has not gone away, its just the accountability is between myself and the Lord. When I reflected on the law of consecration I realized I must live that too. For all that I have is consecrated to the Lord and the building of his kingdom. For now I am only asked to tithe one-tenth of my increase. Even though I live a lesser law, I can still be of the heart of a higher law. This will only prepare me for a future time if called upon to do so differently.

Day 2122

Tuesday, December 1, 2020

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 70:4

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 70:4
"And an account of this stewardship will I require of them in the day of judgment."

Recognizing that I will give an accounting of everything that I had stewardship over to the Lord on judgment day, sure makes you more mindful of what you are doing.

"Thou shalt be diligent in preserving what thou hast, that thou mayest be a wise steward; for it is the free gift of the Lord thy God, and thou art his steward."
(Doctrine and Covenants 136:27)

Day 2073

Friday, November 13, 2020

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 52:13

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 52:13
"And behold, he that is faithful shall be made ruler over many things."

When I pondered on this accountability came to mind. If I rule over something I have stewardship and am accountability for it.

"His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."
(Matthew 25: 23)

Day 2055

Thursday, November 12, 2020

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 51:16-17

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 51:16-17

"And I consecrate unto them this land for a little season, until I, the Lord, shall provide for them otherwise, and command them to go hence;

And the hour and the day is not given unto them, wherefore let them act upon this land as for years, and this shall turn unto them for their good."

I guess I missed the fact that the saints were told even before gathering to Ohio that they wouldn't be there long. Even with that they settled, and eventually built a temple. I remember when a church leader was asked about the timing of the second coming. They said "we still plant cherry trees". Wish I could find that quote. I think it was either President Kimball or President Hinckley that said it. Those words stuck with me. We don't just give up, thinking the end is coming so why plan for anything in the future. Nope, we are still to act as if we will be here for years. That is the attitude of faith and hope, and being good stewards over all that we have.

I did find this interesting quote from Brigham Young.

"How many times have I asked the Latter-day Saints what they could do with regard to building the New Jerusalem? Suppose the word were to come to us that Jesus had appointed a certain time in which he would again visit this earth, and that he wanted a place prepared for him; or the command, “Go forth, ye Latter-day Saints, and begin to build the New Jerusalem, and prepare to receive the city of Enoch that will come down out of the heaven;” where is the man competent to go and collect stone fit to lay in the first tier of the foundation of the walls of that city? To judge from their improvements, there is hardly a man capable of judiciously directing the labor of even two men—hardly a man that can properly erect a gristmill or a building for carding machines. Where are your useful machinery, your beautiful habitations your fertile gardens, your lovely walks, and magnificent palaces? You may reply, “We are not going to stop here, but are going to the Center Stake of Zion,” and so you pass on in comparative inactivity, and attempt only to build log houses or mud shanties. If you had the spirit of your calling, you would be anxious to build the best houses you could, and make the best gardens, fields, and vineyards, though you knew that you would not enjoy them one day after they were completed."

(JD 8:293, Remarks by President Brigham Young, made at Willow Creek, June 12, 1860)

Day 2054

Saturday, August 1, 2020

Today's Favorite Verse: 3 Nephi 14:1, 15

Today's Favorite Verse: 3 Nephi 14:1, 15
"And now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words he turned again to the multitude, and did open his mouth unto them again, saying: Verily, verily, I say unto you, Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

I noticed that we are being instruction in two different types of judgment. One hand we are asked not to judge, and on the other hand we are asked to beware of or judge if someone is a false prophet. How does one judge what is appropriate?  I found this great quote on this subject by a great judge himself President Dallin H. Oaks.

"I have puzzled that some scriptures command us not to judge and others instruct us that we should judge and even tell us how to do it. But as I have studied these passages I have become convinced that they seemingly contradictory directions are consistent when we view them with the perspective of eternity. The key to understand that there are two kinds of judging: final judgments, which we are forbidden to make, and intermediate judgments, which we are directed to make, but upon righteous principles.
First, a righteous judgment must, by definition, be intermediate...
Second, a righteous judgment will be guided by the Spirit of the Lord, not by anger, revenge, jealousy, or self-interest.
Third, to be righteous, an intermediate judgment must be within our stewardship.
Fourth, we should, if possible, refrain from judging until we have adequate knowledge of the facts
(Dallin H. Oaks, "Judge Not' and Judging", Ensign, Aug 1999, 7, 9-10)

It would seem that what I am not to give is any final judgment on the soul of a person. I would think great care would even be needed when facing a false prophet and pronouncing any final judgment on them. One never knows when a person will come to themselves and their condition. Every opportunity must be allowed for a person to repent. Zeezrom is a great example of this in the Book of Mormon.

I found another great quote this time by Elder M. Russell Ballard on false prophets.

"Therefore, let us beware of false prophets and false teachers, both men and women, who are self-appointed declarers of the doctrines of the Church and who seek to spread their false gospel and attract followers by sponsoring symposia, books, and journals whose contents challenge fundamental doctrines of the Church. Beware of those who speak and publish in opposition to God’s true prophets and who actively proselyte others with reckless disregard for the eternal well-being of those whom they seduce. Like Nehor and Korihor in the Book of Mormon, they rely on sophistry to deceive and entice others to their views. They “set themselves up for a light unto the world, that they may get gain and praise of the world; but they seek not the welfare of Zion”
(M. Russell Ballard, "Beware of False Prophets and False Teachers", Oct 1999, General Conference)

The judgment I make in the case of false prophets and teachers affects my soul, which I have stewardship over. I have actually experienced meeting these people, who are selling and practicing priestcraft. Once I had quite the disturbing experience, and I could not flee their symposium fast enough. I may have had to judge them for myself but I took great care not to pronounce a judgment on what I thought they were to others. How would I know if they had come to themselves and repented.

My stewardship isn't to publish and report people. I only have stewardship over myself and family. Some individuals that I know personally, and have witnessed them entering deep water, I give a single warning on what they are dealing with. Hoping it would open their eyes, but the moment they want to contend the matter I leave them to themselves. I have learned from experience that false prophets and teachers will expose themselves for who they are to those that need to know. The only thing I can do is be there when they come to themselves.

Day 1951

Thursday, December 6, 2018

Today's Favorite Verse: Jeremiah 29:8

Today's Favorite Verse: Jeremiah 29:8
"For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed."

I had to ponder on the idea of someone causing a false dream to come to them. How does that happen? What came to mind is someone listening to a false prophet and then dwelling upon the idea that you dream about it. I know I've had dreams surely inspired by a movie or book that I read.

So then my question is "How do I know if the dream is false or not?"  First, I thought that I should pray to receive the interpretation of it. If it is of God I should be given the meaning. I have prayed for the interpretation of dreams and received it. I always find it interesting that much of what I dreamed about was symbolic. I wouldn't have understood it by looking at it on the surface.

But, it troubled me to just leave it at that. What was Jeremiah trying to warn me of? Then I saw it, these were dreams that had meaning for all of Israel. Jeremiah was the prophet and God would be speaking to him, not the others. The realm of stewardship belonged to the prophet Jeremiah in this matter. I will never have a dream that has meaning for others outside of my stewardship. The ordained prophet of God is the only one authorized to receive revelation for the whole of the church.
"And this shall be a law unto you, that ye receive not the teachings of any that shall come before you as revelations or commandments;
And this I give unto you that you may not be deceived, that you may know they are not of me.
For verily I say unto you, that he that is ordained of me shall come in at the gate and be ordained as I have told you before, to teach those revelations which you have received and shall receive through him whom I have appointed."
(Doctrine and Covenants 43:5-7)

The dreams and revelations of the prophet of God are the only ones I should be paying attention to. Maybe that's why I have lost all curiosity in reading what other people have been dreaming. Before I started reading scriptures every day, I was really fascinated by them.

Day 1349

Tuesday, March 7, 2017

Today's Favorite Verse: Numbers 18:1

Today's Favorite Verse: Numbers 18:1
"And the Lord said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood."

The word "iniquity" used with the words sanctuary and priesthood left me puzzled, so I had to pondered on it. There was one footnote in that verse associated with the word bear.

"IE bear any guilt incurred in failure to bear the full responsibility thereof."

This made me thing of Doctrine & Covenants 82:3 "For of him unto whom much is given much is required; and he who sins against the greater light shall receive the greater condemnation."

I sat and pondered on the great weight of responsibility for those called in leadership responsibility within the church. I though of King Benjamin's words in the Book of Mormon.

"Therefore, as I said unto you that I had served you, walking with a clear conscience before God, even so I at this time have caused that ye should assemble yourselves together, that I might be found blameless, that your blood should not come upon me, when I shall stand to be judged of God of the things whereof he hath commanded me concerning you." (Mosiah 2:27)

I felt much soberness thinking of those that serve and the great responsibility on their shoulders. The stewardship they will have to answer for. It is a wonder than anyone would be willing to serve, when they are accountable for what they didn't do. They really do deserve my heartfelt respect and gratitude. The best way I can show that is to listen to them.

Day 710

Friday, February 17, 2017

Today's Favorite Verse: Leviticus 27:32-33

Today's Favorite Verse: Leviticus 27:32-33
"And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.
He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed."

In my mind I pictured the shepherd numbering his sheep. Putting them in a fold and allowing only one at a time to pass out. All the while dipping his colored rod on the tenth sheep to pass. Thereby marking the lamb to be tithed. Whichever came out as the tenth was the Lord's. I sat and thought about the illiterate, unable to count to ten. How would they know which was the tenth? Then I looked at my hands. My own hands show me what is ten. I had never looked at them that way. Even a little child can match with a finger and know one of something belongs to the Lord.

I pondered on the animals coming out of the fold at will. What absolute faith it took, that what came as the tenth would be the Lord's. If it was your favorite or prize sheep it did not matter, it was the Lord's. I sat and thought how this is similar to how I pay my tithing. After getting paid my wages I sit and balance my checkbook. Before paying any bills I count the tenth of my income and pay my tithing first. Then relying on celestial bookkeeping I pay the remainder of my bills. During lean times it has been tempting to wait on paying my tithing so a bill could be paid. I have since learned to not even look at the bills before paying tithing, so the temptation is not even there. It really is having faith that whatever comes out of the fold next will be as the Lord wanted, and a way will be prepared.

In college I received my degree in Accounting and the Lord's method is far superior. I gave my method the name celestial bookkeeping, because it follows heaven's law of paying tithes first. After I pay the Lord's tithe I know somehow, as a wise steward, I will have sufficient for my needs, even when there are more bills to be paid than money on hand. Through the spirit my mind will open up and I will see the way to shuffle things, coming to a solution that meets our family's needs and my creditors. I have witnessed true miracles which makes me absolutely love being the celestial bookkeeper of my home. The whole act is holy when dedicated to the Lord. I love paying the bills and witnessing the promise blessings. He never fails me, I have sufficient for my needs when I pay the Lord first.

President Hinckley said "While tithing is paid with money, more importantly it is paid with faith."  The paying of tithing has blessed me with greater faith in the Lord.

Day 692

Saturday, December 3, 2016

Today's Favorite Verse: Genesis 41:4-5, 25, 32

Today's Favorite Verse: Genesis 41:4-5, 25, 32
And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kind did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.
And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.
And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.
And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice, it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

I had so many thoughts, and so many verses I marked, in this chapter of 57 verses. So hard to pick just one verse or one theme. I finally settled on what it means to me. For I am told to liken the scriptures to myself.

I have been experiencing a first sleep and second sleep. I know it is of God and not insomnia. What peace I feel when I awake, ponder on the things of God, and then go back to sleep. I saw in Pharaoh the first and second sleep. I have not been awoken by dreams during this time frame, but I feel like I am being prepared for one. I will only have it when I am ready. I thought about my last dream many months ago and what an answer to pray it was. It was not well for a family member, but it settled my heart on the matter and comforted me.

In this chapter I noted that Joseph said Pharaoh's dream being doubled to him twice is because it was established by God and would come about shortly. I also see the pattern of asking if there is more after receiving anything from God. The example being Pharaoh went back to sleep after the first dream. It wasn't until morning when he awoke that his soul was troubled.

The other thing I pondered on was Pharaoh receiving the dream and not Joseph who was the dreamer. Pharaoh received a dream for what he had stewardship over. He was over all of Egypt, all the lives of the people depended upon him. I know whatever dream I have that comes it will only be for what I have stewardship over. Which most likely is myself.

I am reminded of Acts 2:17 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams."

I believe that all of this is happening, but they are for the individuals, drawing them closer to God and unto Christ. Dreams are only for the stewardship we have over. Things that come for the world at large come from God's chosen prophet. I really have no desire to read other people's dreams. Joseph of Egypt interpreted Pharaoh's dream because he was called to be such a prophet.

Day 616

Sunday, July 31, 2016

Today's Favorite Verse: D&C 72:3-4

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 72:3-4
"And verily in this thing ye have done wisely, for it is required of the Lord, at the hand of every steward, to render an account of his stewardship, both in time and in eternity.
For he who is faithful and wise in time is accounted worthy to inherit the mansions prepared for him of my Father."

What just jumped out at me was the phrase "wise in time". Not only will I give an accounting of my stewardship, but also the wise use of my time. Does that ever make me not want to watch TV or waste my time in useless things again. I have felt every minute of my day is precious. I try to use it as wisely as I can. Even more so since I heard and felt the Lord hastening his work. I have to say this verse gave me confirmation of my feelings. I had just never spotted that phrase before. Every moment of my life is precious and I must continue to make wise use of it. I will make an accounting of it in the end.

Day 491

Friday, July 29, 2016

Today's Favorite Verse: D&C 70:4

Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 70:4
"And an account of this stewardship will I require of them in the day of judgment."

What I pondered on what is my stewardship? What have I been called by the Lord to do? I will have to account for my stewardship. Even the least in his kingdom will be required to give an accounting. I don't think I ask myself this question as often as I should. I truly want to report back to the Lord that I was good and faithful in all he asked me to do. That I did everything he asked of me to help build his kingdom here upon the earth. I am so flawed, but I can do better.

Day 489
