Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Nephi 6:6
"Wherefore, I shall give commandment unto my seed, that they shall not occupy these plates with things which are not of worth unto the children of men."
Nephi is speaking of the purpose of the plates he is writing on. They are to be of great worth to us, and contain the pleasing things of God. He wanted the record-keepers that come after him to do the same. As I pondered on this I though of plates like my mind. How what I write upon it should be things of worth. That I shouldn't occupy myself with that which has no true value or meaning in the scheme of things.
