"And he said unto me: Knowest thou the condescension of God?
And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things."
Condescension means a voluntary descent from rank or dignity.
I love how humble and teachable Nephi is. He is being taught by the Lord and at times through an angel with a question and answer session. I have found that this is how the spirit also teaches me. Questions of faith and not of doubt or a challenge, will bring answers when I am read.
