Today's Favorite Verse: Jeremiah 2:27-28
"Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.
But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah."
I was thinking about having faith today, and how there is great peace of mind in the midst of what seems like dark days ahead. There is no fear when you trust the Lord. Money, politics, and material things cannot bring peace of mind or comfort in sorrow. If those are your gods then in hard times will they save you?
