Today's Favorite Verse: Psalms 64:8
"So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away."
I have witnessed this week several examples where the lies told by others, and the pit they dug for someone else, is where they have landed. It is not a pleasure to witness, it is rather sad. At the same time you see the hand of the Lord in preserving and protecting those that love Him.
"And that great pit, which hath been digged for them by that great and abominable church, which was founded by the devil and his children, that he might lead away the souls of men down to hell—yea, that great pit which hath been digged for the destruction of men shall be filled by those who digged it, unto their utter destruction, saith the Lamb of God; not the destruction of the soul, save it be the casting of it into that hell which hath no end."
(1 Nephi 14:3)
"That no weapon formed against them shall prosper; that he who diggeth a pit for them shall fall into the same himself;"
(Doctrine and Covenants 109:25)
