Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 21:4-5
"Wherefore, meaning the church, thou shalt give heed unto all his words and commandments which he shall give unto you as he receiveth them, walking in all holiness before me;
For his word ye shall receive, as if from mine own mouth, in all patience and faith."
Joseph Smith, Jr was called as a seer, translator, prophet, and apostle of Jesus Christ. I pondered on how these same keys have been passed on to each succeeding president of the church. That Russell M. Nelson is today such prophet and seer. That I am under the same command to heed his words and counsel, as if the Lord said it himself, which he did. Prophets are inspired of the Lord.
In this chapter it also gives the blessings to those that will listen and obey.
The gates of hell shall not prevail against you.
Disperse the powers of darkness from before you.
Cause the heavens to shake for your good
Blessed with a mighty blessing
