Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Kings 4:29
"And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore."
I pondered on how you can have wisdom but without understanding of what it means it profits you nothing. If you have wisdom and understanding but without the largeness of heart the compassion needed in a situation would be lacking. All three, wisdom, understanding and heart are perfect as long as they are kept in balance with each other. With all the wisdom, and understanding that Solomon was given it was eventually the heart that lead him astray.
