Today's Favorite Verse: Psalms 116:1
"I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications."
This made me ponder on how would I describe what this means? There are two different ways someone could take its meaning. I think the difference is between feeling entitled or gratitude. With entitlement you love someone because they did what you wanted. With gratitude the love was already there without conditions. You're acknowledging the mercy and grace extended to you, and that endures them to you all the more.
