Today's Favorite Verse: 2 Chronicles 9:2, 23
"And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.
And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart."
The wisdom Solomon had was unknown by any other. That was a gift of God. It was pure inspiration by the Holy Ghost. I pondered no how important it is to acknowledge this is the source of wisdom and not think that is due to any superiority in ourselves.
"O that cunning plan of the evil one! O the vainness, and the frailties, and the foolishness of men! When they are learned they think they are wise, and they hearken not unto the counsel of God, for they set it aside, supposing they know of themselves, wherefore, their wisdom is foolishness and it profiteth them not. And they shall perish.
But to be learned is good if they hearken unto the counsels of God.
(2 Nephi 9:28)
