Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Chronicles 8:33

Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Chronicles 8:33
"And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal."

I tried to record the tribe of Benjamin and was not very successful at it. The names I had earlier just didn't match. I did recognize Saul was of the tribe of Benjamin. It sure reminded me of the lines I was trying to straighten out in my own genealogy earlier today.

Then it made me think of the offering that the sons of Levi will make again in righteousness, the book of all acceptation, the book containing the records of our dead.

"Behold, the great day of the Lord is at hand; and who can abide the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fuller’s soap; and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. Let us, therefore, as a church and a people, and as Latter-day Saints, offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness; and let us present in his holy temple, when it is finished, a book containing the records of our dead, which shall be worthy of all acceptation."
(Doctrine and Covenants 128:24)

There is much work to do on both sides of the veil.
