Today's Favorite Verse: Numbers 18:1
"And the Lord said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father’s house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood."
I had to look up what it meant to "bear the iniquity of the sanctuary", and the "iniquity of your priesthood." I couldn't see how there would be iniquity in either. The footnote is "IE bear any guilt incurred in failure to bear the full responsibility thereof." So the iniquity comes when you don't live up to what you were called to do.
