Today's Favorite Verse: Numbers 13:18, 30-31
"And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;
And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and
possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we."
Moses sent one man as the head of each tribe to scout out the land of Canaan. As I go over what they were to report the Lord never asked their opinion on if Israel could overtake the people in the land. It was the fear of the children of Israel that doubted it. That shows their lack of faith in who is really fighting their battles. Caleb tries to calm their fears by speaking in faith. You can see where his focus is, it's in the Lord. What a difference the course of our lives take when we look forward in faith.
