Today's Favorite Verse: Leviticus 10:1-2

Today's Favorite Verse: Leviticus 10:1-2
"And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not.
And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord."

This chapter actually answered a question I had, regarding those in apostasy that do things inside the temple that would pollute it. I wondered if the temple would have to be rededicated in such a case? In this, I see it is the offender that dies, at least spiritually. I have seen that happen so the cleansing is the removal of the person from the temple. Not that they had power to make the house of the Lord defiled and unusable for those that remain faithful. That actually gives me great peace.
