Today's Favorite Verse: Exodus 5:22-23

Today's Favorite Verse: Exodus 5:22-23
"And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all."

As I looked at this first experience of Moses asking Pharaoh to let the children of Israel go, and how it appears to backfire. The people now had to make bricks without straw and not have their tallies decrease. It made me think of how this experience needed to happen, so Moses and the children of Israel could learn to have faith in the midst of opposition. There is a purpose in failure, even if its just to learn who and where we put our trust.
