Today's Favorite Verse: Judges 20:13

Today's Favorite Verse: Judges 20:13
"Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel:"

The children of Israel having learned what the had been done in Gibeah, ask that the men that did this wickedness be delivered for punishment. Instead the tribe of Benjamin fight to their own slaughter to protect these evil men. That is so sad and senseless. It is an example of how the wicked and their pride become both deaf and dumb to reason. This evil did need to be put away, and the children of Israel did council with God on if this was what they needed to do. It shows the hearts of two different people.
