Today's Favorite Verse: Zechariah 8:16-17

"These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD."

Paul said it so clearly, "Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;" (1 Corinthians 13:6) This is truly having charity.

"Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away." (1 Corinthians 13:8)

Without charity all the gifts of the spirit will vanish away. In turn so does society, for they lose their love one for another. Charity is the very last thing Moroni and Mormon wrote about as their civilization was ending. Why? because it was the most basic element that hold it together. This is the most basic thing we can gain and hold onto in our day.

"And except ye have charity ye can in nowise be saved in the kingdom of God; neither can ye be saved in the kingdom of God if ye have not faith; neither can ye if ye have no hope."

(Moroni 10:21)

"But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him."

(Moroni 7:47)
