Today's Favorite Verse: 2 Corinthians 9:7-8
"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:"
I always thought that in addition to keeping the commandments there was a connection between having sufficient for your needs and paying tithes and offerings with a true heart. Now I find a scripture showing that it is. When you have sufficient for your needs your soul is satisfied with what you have. Windows are opened to acquire what is needful. That is far better than having all the money in the world, for a soul that is not satisfied will never be satisfied no matter how much material wealth or items they acquire.
