Today's Favorite Verse: Psalms 78:34-35

Today's Favorite Verse: Psalms 78:34-35
"When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and inquired early after God.
And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer."

I remember thinking at the start of this pandemic that possibly this was how God would humble the people and it would turn hearts towards Him. If anything I think people's hearts are turned further away from Him. Contention is even stronger now. What does that say about us? Then I reflected on how I have grown during this time, and how my heart has turned towards God. I know I'm not alone. Sometimes, being silent is needed in a contentious world in order to not contend.
