Today's Favorite Verse: Titus 3:1

Today's Favorite Verse: Titus 3:1
"Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,"

This reminds me of this..."We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law." (Article of Faith 12)

It's also what I thought of today as I was reading articles on the first 91 flags being raised on Temple Square plaza. The flags of 181 nations will be displayed there. This reflects the global nature of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. "The flags also represent the Church’s commitment to being a friend to all nations and its belief that the gospel will one day have “filled the whole earth” (Daniel 2:35). 90 flags will rotate every three months, with the American flag remaining in place. They will be displayed in alphabetical order. It's interesting how some are going to lengths to be nationalist, which is opposite of the church moving globally. The difference is being able to live in peace with others now and in the millennium.
