"But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgement, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord."
Pretty serious things are in this chapter of what will happen to people that turn from the Lord. This verse was the bright light in the midst of them. What I pondered on is that that taking glory does not mean to become prideful in righteousness. It is truly to glory in knowing who the Lord is, and understanding why things are the way they are around us. As the world darkens the Lord's people will see his marvelous guiding light and protection in their lives. They will feel and know His abiding love.
