Today's Favorite Verse: Alma 7:12
"And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities."
Alma goes to Gideon and speaks to the people there. It is 83 years before Christ's birth. They had long been told of the Savior's birth and mission. As Alma tells the saints of all that is to come I just wept. I can't even write. Sometimes I just need to sit and weep at the thought of all the Lord has done for me. I know he has felt every pain and sorrow I have ever felt, and will feel in the future. He is the only one that can truly comfort me.
