Today's Favorite Verse: Acts 25:7

Today's Favorite Verse: Acts 25:7
"And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.
Against whom when the accusers stood up, they brought none accusations of such things as I supposed.
But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive."

I pondered on how I have seen this same tactic used politically and how nasty it is to witness. They laid in wait to destroy a reputation with lies. It made me think of how this story of Paul is telling me this tactic will be used on Christians too.
