"For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen."
This made me think of all the times I hear people trying to be God's counsellor. I can see how I have tried to do this at times too. I have a good plan and have learned over time the Lord's plan is better.
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord."
(Isaiah 55:8)
One day I hope my thoughts and ways are exactly like His. For now I stumble along trying, and trust that all will come to my good in the end if I stay on His path.
