"Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."
Saw this scripture verse a little differently today. Heritage reminded me of my forbearers, and how we pass on a family resemblance. Then I thought of this verse.
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
(Genesis 1:27)
One of the heritages from the Lord is that I was made in his image. Every baby born down through the ages is in his image too. We are literal children of God and have a noble heritage.
