Today's Favorite Verse: Job 15:8-9

Today's Favorite Verse: Job 15:8-9
"Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself?
What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us?"

What Eliphaz the Temanite doesn't seem to understand is that man can be redeemed from darkness and be resurrected. Job knowing these things seems like a great secret or mystery to Eliphaz. I wondered how Job could know this but not Eliphaz? I couldn't find any answers on who Eliphaz was or learn much on his background. So I pondered on the difference of understanding. How one can know and understand the things of God and another it appears as if a big secret. I think it must be faith.

"And now as I said concerning faith - faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true.
And now, behold I say unto you, and I would that ye should remember, that God is merciful unto all who believe on his name; therefore he desireth, in the first place, that ye should believe, yea, even on his word.
And now, he imparteth his word by angels unto men, yea, not only men but woman also. Now this is not all; little children do have words given unto them many times, which confound the wise and the learned."
(Alma 32:21-23)
