Today's Favorite Verse: Nehemiah 9:17

Today's Favorite Verse: Nehemiah 9:17
"And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not."

Even though this was written long after the time of Moses and long before the time of Christ, I sat and marveled that we can say those same words today. God's children rebel, but he is forever waiting for them to turn back to him. It is never to late to have God's mercy upon us. Because of Jesus Christ's atonement we can be forgiven and return back to him.
