Today's Favorite Verse: Nehemiah 5:1, 4
"And there was a great cry of the people and of their wives against their brethren the Jews.
There were also that said, We have borrowed money for the king's tribute, and that upon our lands and vineyards."
The borrowing of money or mortgaging their lands brought the Jews into bondage. It was a great financial burden. I can understand financial bondage and the tears that come from it. I pondered on the council of the prophets to get out of debt. I must do better with this.
