"A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth."
This reminded me of a story I heard recently. The person had been invited to read the Book of Mormon, and they did so looking for faults in it. They did not feel impressed with the book. When they told the missionaries this, they were told that is not how the book should be read. Moroni's promise comes to those that sincerely want to know.
"And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that you would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost."
(Moroni 10:4)
God's truths will be revealed when I am open to receiving it. Then it is easy to be understood.
