Today's Favorite Verse: Proverbs 12:16, 23
"A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimaeth foolishness."
The definition of prudent is: acting with or showing care and thought for the future. It is good to be wise and careful in thought and deed. We have a saying in our family that some "cannot see past the end of their nose". They do not look ahead at where their actions are taking them. There is no longer any shame. They foolishly boost to their own detriment. I am all for repentance and forgiveness, but feeling internal shame and remorse play an important role in the repentance process. How else would I feel the desire to forsake them?
