Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Samuel 1:17-18
"Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad."
This is the story of Hannah and her son Samuel. When Eli the priest told her to go in peace the Lord would grant her petition, the sign of her faith was in her actions. She went her way, eat and was sad no more. I pondered on how all this happened before Hannah even conceived Samuel. The only evidence she had that it would take place is the spirit telling her it was so. I have known that feeling. The spirit has told me something and I have had the joy of it even before it happens. That is walking in faith and trusting in the Lord.
