"Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men."
I am always sadden when I hear of the innocent children being slain. Satan was out to destroy the Christ child and Herod was just a willing tool. I pondered how Satan continues his quest to destroy the innocent and young. Heavenly Father trusted the care of his only begotten son to Mary and Joseph. He gave dreams of warning to Jesus' earthly parents to keep him safe. It is the same for us as parents. We will receive inspiration and knowledge to protect our children if we just listen. It is our stewardship and right.
