Today's Favorite Verse: 1 Kings 15:11, 14
"And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, as did David his father.
But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect with the Lord all his days."
This chapter had so many kings, and all were wicked except Asa. As I read this chapter this was the only thing I could dwell on that was good. I get so very tired of wickedness. I can only image what the God thinks of his children today. Just seems things grow darker and darker as each day passes. I just need to look for the light and keep focused on that. How grateful I am for my high places, the house of the Lord, and the peace that it brings.
