Today's Favorite Verse: Ezekiel 21:24

Today's Favorite Verse: Ezekiel 21:24
"Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand."

I pondered on how it's one thing to sin and be ashamed and hide it. For that is between you and the Lord, and the accountability is yours. It's another when sin is shouted from the housetops and praised as something desirable, smart and good. To the point laws are enacted that go against the laws of God. This is when it's published and called to be remembered, this is when the hand of God will come upon them as a people. On the one hand it's between you and the Lord. Only then do you need to repent or be condemned. On the other, it is calling good evil and evil good and causing others to sin along with you. This is when a nation needs to come to repentance for going against the laws of God. This in when the nation will be punished. It makes my stomach sick to think of where we as a nation are right now.
