Today's Favorite Verse: Ezekiel 18:21-22

Today's Favorite Verse: Ezekiel 18:21-22
"But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statues, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live."

This is the beauty of repentance. For after repentance my sins are no more. The Lord will not mention them at final judgment. They are as if they never happened. How merciful is that! To be made clean there is no stain left. If only the world could do that to. I am so sadden as I see people unable to forgive others, and so willing to bring up dirt so long ago overcome and say you life is now wasted forever. No wonder I see depression and suicides increasing.

For the Lord says in version 32 "For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye."

Spiritual death can be overcome in Christ. Man now teaches the opposite. That is unrighteous judgment and such will be condemned.

"For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."
(Matthew 7:2)

"Therefore, my son, see that you are merciful unto your brethren; deal justly, judge righteously, and do good continually; and if ye do all these things then shall ye receive your reward; yea, ye shall have mercy restored unto you again; ye shall have justice restored unto you again; ye shall have a righteous judgment restored unto you again; and ye shall have good rewarded unto you again."
(Alma 41:14)
