"Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels."
Wow, that was some vision that Ezekiel had. I have absolutely no prior understanding of it, so I had to ponder and listen. The words that came to me were "Power of Obedience". Now what does that mean? All I can say is that I was struck by how they went straight and forward and didn't turn and were lifted up. They went where the spirit went. At the end of the vision Ezekiel hears the voice of God, is given a covenant and promise of eternal life and see's God. That to me means the blessing and power of obedience.
