Today's Favorite Verse: 2 Chronicles 35:18
"And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem."
Right after this passover Josiah is wounded in battle and dies. It was so sad. Then I pondered on how this was a good king, and his heart was right before the Lord. He had come to help the people worship God. No wonder the people mourned for his loss. To die after doing so much good would actually be merciful. He was in such a better place.
