"Yea, and then shall the work commence, with the Father among all nations in preparing the way whereby his people may be gathered home to the land of their inheritance.
And they shall go out from all nations; and they shall not go out in haste, nor go by flight, for I will go before them, saith the Father, and I will be their rearward."
It's funny how long ago February seems now. It was when the pandemic first started and missions were closing and missionaries were starting to come home. Then the nations began closing their borders and calling their people home. That is when I reflected on this verse and could see how the Lord can do amazing things when he begins to call his people home to the land of their inheritance. This time people did leave somewhat in haste and many took flights, but one day it will be that final call home. Who knows maybe this was just the start of it. There is no doubt the Lord was the missionaries' rearward in guiding them safely home.
