Today's favorite verse: John 20:14
"And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus."
This was the first appearance of the risen Lord to Mary Magdalene that Easter Morning. His faithful follower did not recognize him. I sat and pondered on how changed a resurrected being must be. This lead to a wonderful scripture chain of all the verses we have of those that have seen the risen Lord. Someday I too shall see his face, may I be able to recognize him when I do. For now I must believe and not doubt like Thomas did until he also saw the Lord.
