"And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first at Antioch."
In this chapter Peter tells those in Jerusalem the conversion of Cornelius and how he received the Holy Ghost. Cornelius was a gentile and considered unclean but who was Peter to tell God that the gentiles couldn't receive the gospel. Now the disciplines begin to spread the gospel to the gentiles.
I love seeing the forming of the early church. Now things come line upon line. I sat and pondered over how they needed a new name and identity. They have taken upon them the name of Christ. I see such parallels in the restoration of the gospel in the latter-days. The Lord's people are given only so much at a time until they receive a fullness.
