Today's Favorite Verse - Acts 10:3-4

Today's favorite verse: Acts 10:3-4
"He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God."

These verse reminds me that the Lord knows our good works. Cornelius was not a Jew, but he was a devout man and feared God, gave alms to the people and prayed always. He was a worthy man to have the gospel of Jesus Christ preached to him. This is his journey on how Peter was able to do so. I reminds me that the Lord knows the good works we do if we do them in secret and seek not the praise of man. He will make sure that the further light and knowledge of his gospel is given to us when we are ready.
