"Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord."
I had to smile for these verses fit the family scripture discussion we had this pass week. We have the realization that all the experiences of living in the world, but not of the world, is available in the family dynamics happening within our home. Different values and philosophies between all that live here. Yet between my husband, oldest son and I, we gather for family scriptures, attend church and the temple together. There is a peace sadly the others don't understand. While parts of the family party outside and want no part we let them be. We can live in the world and not be part of it. The spirit can be here for some and gone for others. It's sad for they do not understand the joy they could have. If it ever changes we are waiting for them to come and see.
