Today's Favorite Verse: Jeremiah 43:2
"Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:"
Pretty foolish to tell a prophet he is speaking falsely. Especially since Babylon just carried people away as Jeremiah prophesied they would. You would think the remnant left would hang on every word the prophet spoke. It is the foolishness of man to think they know better than the prophet. Yet, that is exactly what people are still doing today.
