Today's Favorite Verse: 2 Kings 6:15-17
"And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha."
These three chapters had so many glorious stories of Elisha. I thought how I would have loved to experience my eyes being opened and seeing all those horses and chariots of fire surrounding them. Then as I reflected on it I thought of my near death experience, and how long it took to recover from what I saw. Even praying was such an overpowering experience because of how close God was. I began to appreciate the veil, and living by faith. I think I would prefer not to see such things during my life time but to review them in the next life.
