"And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?"
The part "where will ye leave your glory?" really struck me. To leave my glory would mean I have left the Lord. I no longer have His grace. He's not there because I know longer have faith in Christ. When the day that destruction and desolation is all around me He won't be there for me to turn to. Well, really he's always there, but it's me not looking for Him any more. When you've left God for so long you no longer seek refuge in his arms. Such a sad thought, that made me cry.
