"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."
In this chapter John not only saw the imminent apostasy of the Church, but also the War in Heaven when Satan and his angels were cast out. In this verse Satan is called the accuser of our brethren. That is the ultimate tool in Satan's arsenal. He tried to accuse Christ of being incapable of being our Savior, and all that would be required. He attacked those that supported Christ and stood up for him. This is exactly the same tactic being used today. Damage the character of a person, especially those without sin. Knowing that this is Satan's tool it becomes even more important in the time that I live to not become offended by the lies of others. What is important is to know where I stand with the Lord.
