Today's Favorite Verse: Judges 21:25
"In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes."
I finished the book of Judges and I'm not impressed with the stories. Are these really God's people? Then that last verse tells it all. They are shining examples of when people do what is right in their own eyes. These are people that did not follow the commands and laws of God. This is what happens when you are not being guided by a prophet, much less a common ruler over you.
