Today's Favorite Verse: Genesis 31:3
"And the LORD said unto Jacob, Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee."
I pondered on how Jacob stayed with Laban, his wives' father, until the Lord told him to leave. Sometimes situations will change making where we are at uncomfortable. The Lord wanted to bless Jacob further but he could not stay with Laban, or Laban's sons. Where Jacob is told to go back to the land of his father, it is not comfortable for him either. He did not know if Esau would kill him or his wives and children. It took faith to return to the land of his fathers. The reunion with his brother Esau is very touching. The Lord will prepare the way when we are obedient.
"And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept."
