Today's Favorite Verse: Doctrine & Covenants 110:7-8
"For behold, I have accepted this house, and my name shall be here; and I will manifest myself to my people in mercy in this house.
Yea, I will appear unto my servants, and speak unto them with mine own voice, if my people will keep my commandments, and do not pollute this holy house."
The same is true today. After each house of the Lord has been dedicated the Lord will come to His Temple to accept it. The Payson temple was dedication on June 7, 2015. I was in first general session endowment of the Payson temple on June 9, 2015 while all ordinances were in operation when I felt the Lord's presence in the temple. I knew if I could have gotten up right then I could have walked to where He was in the temple. I knew He was accepting the operation of His temple, but I did not know where to find it in the scriptures. It wasn't until months latter when I read these verses that I received my confirmation. Later President Nelson confirmed this fact for all temples.
"Jesus Christ then declared that He had accepted the temple as His house and made this stunning promise: “I will manifest myself to my people in mercy in this house.”
This significant promise applies to every dedicated temple today. I invite you to ponder what the Lord’s promise means for you personally."
