Today's Favorite Verse: Moroni 6:8
"But as oft as they repented and sought forgiveness, with real intent, they were forgiven."
I am so grateful for the gift of repentance. I use this gift every day. I do not want to be found unclean and neglectful of setting right what can so easily be corrected. As I have committed to daily repentance I find I am more mindful of the Lord in my thoughts and actions.
"Wherever we are on our journey through life, as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ we constantly treasure the blessing to repent. Repentance is not punishment; repentance is a redemptive gift from a loving Heavenly Father.
With open arms, our Savior bids us, “Come unto me” (Matthew 11:28). If you find yourself temporarily facing setbacks, don’t become discouraged; focus on your love of the Savior and His love for you! This year, week by week, we can repent and become better because of Jesus Christ."
